Marvel just revealed that Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown has joined the cast of Black Panther. The site made the announcement letting fans know that Brown will portray N’Jobu, who is described as a “figure from T’Challa aka Black Panther’s past.”
Sterling K. Brown recently won an Emmy for his role as Christopher Darden in The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story. The actor joins a growing list of actors with Chadwick Boseman reprising the role he first portrayed in Captain America: Civil War.
Directed by Ryan Coogler (“Fruitvale Station,” “Creed”), “Black Panther” stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role alongside Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, and Florence Kasumba. The film arrives in theaters on February 16, 2018.
