While 2016 wasn’t the best year for DC Comics fans (myself included), I think we are all in agreement that 2017 has the potential to be a much more successful year for the DC Extended Universe. Wonder Woman will be the first DC Comics movie out of the gate and everything we’ve seen so far looks incredible.

Time Magazine recently revealed new interviews with both Gal Gadot and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins (available in the link above), and also revealed a new image from the female-led superhero movie. Wonder Woman

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

From Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment comes the epic action adventure starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Robin Wright, directed by Patty Jenkins. Wonder Woman is in theaters June 2, 2017.

Between daydreams of being The Flash, Kieran manages to find the time to read comics, watch movies and keep up with the latest TV Series. The ultimate Superman fanboy his specific interests include the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the DC Extended Universe, and Marvel & DC Comics. Kieran's life goal is to test real-life Iron Man armor. He'd be pretty bummed if he never got to travel the galaxy.
